Sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening

Names are misspelled, transliterated and reordered. Screening should find the match anyway, and show why it matched.

What it does

  • Global sanctions lists

Built-in sources include OFAC, the UN Security Council, the EU, the UK, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Singapore and OpenSanctions.

  • Matching that tolerates variation

Spelling differences, transliteration and word order are handled, and secondary identifiers help rule out false positives.

  • Politically exposed persons

Identify PEPs together with their relatives and close associates.

  • Adverse media

Surface negative news connected to a subject for an analyst to assess.

  • Rescreening

Lists change. Existing customers are screened again when they do.

A confirmed match raises the subject’s risk rating and can open a case.
